We here at PBV wanted to pass on some information about a truly wonderful cause…on August 13th, a friend of  mine,  Andrea Vellinga, was seriously injured in the tragedy at the Indiana State Fair.  Without going into too much detail regarding her injuries, Andrea has a long recovery ahead (and she is making huge strides everyday!).  Being a resident of Pendleton, Indiana, there has been a huge outpouring of support for Andrea and her family.  There are various fundraisers taking place (as well as being planned) and any help you are willing to give to this amazing family is much appreciated.

It’s here again, PBV!  Happy 4th of July!  There are celebrations happening all over the city during the next week, so we decided to make it a bit easier and break it down for you…

July 1st:

Kokomo: Fireworks at 10pm at Foster Park.

July 2nd:

Fishers: Fireworks after Symphony on the Prairie (Connor Prairie)…Gates open at 4:30pm.

July 3rd:

Bloomington: Feel like getting away?  Enjoy fireworks at dusk at the IU Athletic Complex!

Carmel: Enjoy some fireworks at CarmelFest from 4-10pm!

July 4th:

Carmel: 4th of July Parade beginning at 10:30am.  Festival will begin after the conclusion of the parade!  Watch some fireworks beginning at 9:45pm at the Civic Square!

 Cicero: 4th of July Parade beginning at 2:30pm.  Stay to enjoy fireworks at dusk over Morse Lake.

Tipton: Fireworks at dusk at the Tipton County 4-H Fairgrounds!

Sheridan: Lions’ Club Parage at 10:30am with fireworks beginning at dusk at Biddle Memorial Park.

Noblesville: Come enjoy the parade beginning at 5pm, followed by the festival from 6-10pm.  Hop over to Noblesville High School at 10pm to enjoy fireworks close to home!

Hot enough for you, PBV?!  We hope you are all enjoying yourselves here at PBV and at the many fun activites taking place throughout our city!

Just a quick reminder to stop by the office and pick up your pool pass if you’ve not received one (this is different from your clubhouse access card).  We ask that you have this pass with you at the pool at all times (if you do not have it with you, you will be asked to hop back to your apartment and grab it!).  There is one pass per apartment, so be sure not to lose it!

**Also, please remember that there are to be no glass bottles in our beautiful pool area as this is a hazard to your friends and neighbors!**
